My Thoughts: I actually tried this product about a year ago and HATED it. I'm not sure what went wrong, but my hair felt dry and so I decided to give it away to my honey bunny's sister since she loved it. Fast forward a year later after hearing rave reviews on youtube and practically everywhere else I decided to give it another try. I still love my beloved Hair One, but I needed something that could give my scalp a deeper cleasning without stripping my hair. I'm so glad I decided to give this Shea Moisture Shampoo another chance. It leaves my scalp feeling squeaky clean, but also leaves my hair super soft and moisturized at the same time! Of course the fact that this product is sulfate and paraben free and contains some great natural ingredients only sweetens the deal. I've found the best way to apply this product is diluted with water in an applicator bottle. This allows me to focus solely on my scalp and also helps the product to last a bit longer. Overall this is a great product that I would recommend to anyone.

Great review! When you said you hated it before, I got a little nervous. I was recommended this shampoo by another blogger, but I have heard mixed reviews on it. I've been trying to cut down on my stash, but I got a birthday coupon for $10 off a $20 purchase at Sally's and this is what I purchased plus the conditioning masque. I'm hoping these both work out for me. Thanks for sharing your experience!

No problem! Hopefully you'll love the shampoo. I can't speak on the masque because I've nevver used it, but the shampoo is the bomb.com!
DeleteI really want to try this for my daughter :)
ReplyDeleteAt only about $10 (usually less if you catch it on sale at Sally's, Target, Walgreens, etc) I'd definitely give it a try! It's very gentle :)
DeleteNice review. Shea Moisture products can be totally hit or miss depending on what your expectations are or which way the wind is blowing. Ha-ha!
