Makeup Monday | Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette for $14!!!

Is it just me or are these weeks just flying by?! It's Monday again therefore it's time for another Makeup Monday! I trust every one had a great weekend. Mine was even better than great because I was able to pick up a product that I've been wanting for about 6 months now. For those who don't know the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette is a beautiful neutral palette that features a collection of both matte and shimmer eyeshadows mainly in various hues of browns. Oh and did I mention that it actually smells like chocolate *SCORE*! I'm a big neutral girl when it comes to eyeshadows. I've never actually invested in a high end eyeshadow palette, but I couldn't pass on this deal. This palette normally retails for $49 (YIKES!) and can be found at stores like Sephora, Ulta, and HSN. On HSN.com you can purchase the palette and a full size tube of the Too Faced Eyeshadow primer (which retails for $20 by itself) and free shipping for $49. So basically you can get $79 worth of Too Faced items for $49. If this is your first time ordering from HSN you can use a coupon code and save $20 on your purchase. Click here for more information and the coupon code! In addition to that I've recently been taking surveys in my free time on a website called Opinion Outpost to make a little extra spending money. Basically this website pays you to take surveys. Plain and simple! I paired my survey earnings with Ebates to receive 3% cash back on my order. For those who've never heard of ebates it is basically rebates for online retailers (i.e. JC Penney online, Walgreens online, etc). You'd be surprised how many stores have ebates going on. For example today Sephora and Ulta have 8% cash back ebates! For those who may be interested in joining or checking out the website click here. So what was my final total for this $49 eye shadow palette and $20 eyeshadow primer? $13.82!!! I love a good deal and I definitely got one! Is there a beauty item that you've been wanting to try lately?

Weekly Finds: As I Am Coconut Cowash!

Wow I really can't remember the last time I did a 'Weekly Find' post, but an unexpected trip to Sally's is the reason for this one! While trying to help the boo find a moisturizer for his hair I happened to notice that the As I Am Coconut Cowash was on sale for $5.99. As you guys know I've been on a serious savings challenge for the last month and since I've been doing so well I decided to treat myself. I've been wanting to try this cowash conditioner for at least a year and since I caught it on sale I had to get it! Stay tuned because I will do a detailed product review once I've had a chance to use the product for a while. I believe this As I Am Coconut Cowash will be on sale until January 31st!

Bed, Bath, & Beyond's Health and Beauty Section!!!

So I am so excited to share what I discovered today in Bed Bath and Beyond today!!! Lately when reading some of my favorite beauty blogs I keep seeing people mention that they've spotted some of the latest and greatest makeup items in Bed Bath and Beyond. Who would've thought! Well I happened to be near one today and out of curiosity decided to check out the health and beauty section. Y'all I was blown away! Not only does Bed, Bath, and Beyond have a great makeup section, but they have a HUGE Hair product section! AND to make it EVEN better they also have their own generic brand called Harmon Face Value of some of the top product such as Paul Mitchell's 'The Detangler' and Matrix Biolage's 'Detangling Solution'. To top all of this off if you are signed up to receive Bed Bath and Beyond's coupons like I am we are talking about HUGE savings here! I also noticed that the prices seem to be better than Walmart or Target. Oh and did I mention that Bed Bath and Beyond accepts any competitors coupons! I was so mesmerized that I had to take a few pictures!

$2 Off of Essie Nail Polishes At Walgreens!

As of lately Walgreens has become one of my favorite stores for beauty items besides Target and of course my beloved Sally's! The reason why is because of the coupons! I recently discovered (thanks to the lovely sales attendant) that at the beauty check out counter there is normally a stash of coupons sent to them by the retailers for a certain amount of your purchases! On yesterday my honey and I stopped in Walgreens after church because he needed to pick up something so of course I used this as an excuse to roam through the hair and beauty isles and decided to stop and look at all of the Essie nail polishes. Honestly, I had no intention of purchasing them because I find them to be rather pricey, but while I was browsing the sales attendant came over and told me that she had Essie coupons for $2 off! Well I am my mother's child which means that savings, sales, and deals make my day so I selected two lovely colors (Play Date, which is pictured below and Chinchilly) for just $12. I would've paid $16 if it hadn't been for those coupons! So since I was blessed in savings I just had to share it with you all because let's face it...most ladies love a cute nail polish! I have no idea how long these coupons last so just make sure to check out at the beauty counter (the register that is normally accross from the beauty isle) and if the sales attendant doesn't mention it make sure you ask if they have any coupons!

Weekly Find...sort of (Hercules Sagemann Seamless Comb)!!!

I've been debating purchasing a seamless comb for probably about a year now. I remember when I first saw the prices of the Hercules Sagemann seamless combs I scoffed and vowed to never purchase one! However, 9 months into my revamped hair journey I slowly became convinced that I needed this comb in my life! I'll admit EbonyCPrincess of Longing4Length and Jeni of JustGrowAlready helped to convince me (see posts here and here). I purchased the 'Magic Mini Star Rake comb from www.hotcombs.net for $14.95. So far im very impressed with the sturdiness of this comb and if I love it as much as I think I will I definitely plan to purchase more in thr future. I plan to do a full review soon!

Weekly Find: 10 Drawer Rolling Cart

Ok guys I know I've been away for quite a while, but I was on vacation visiting my family and friends for the holidays and since I don't get to see them very often I wanted to make the most of my time at home, hence the reason I only posted one measly post in the last 2 weeks!

Now onto this week's 'Weekly Find'. I'm super excited about this week's find because I've been eying this cart for months! After looking both online and in stores I realized that the normal price for this thing is ridiculous (in my opinion). I even searched online on Amazon (one of my favorite websites) and the lowest price was still $50.00. I'd mentioned to my mother that I really wanted this cart because I was sick and tired of having my hair stuff all over the place. Currently I have a 3 drawer cart from Walmart and it's just not doing the job for me anymore. Anywho, my mother mentioned that Michael's had these carts on sale this week for 50% off the regular price! As soon as I got home from my vacation I went out to get the cart in fear that if I waited until this weekend Michael's would be sold out. Thank goodness I did because I snagged the last one! At Michaels this cart is regular price $74.99. With the 50% off sale going on the price was reduced to $37.49. In addition to that I had a coupon for $5 off of a purchase of $25 or more (to be used on Tuesday and Wednesday only) so the final price was $32.50! I'll put the link here for anyone who may be interested in reading the reviews, etc. As soon as I get a chance to set this bad boy up and organize everything to my liking I plan to post a Youtube video and blog post on how I organize my hair essentials so stay tuned!

Weekly Find: Elf Eyebrow Kit!!!

So a few weeks ago I was in Dollar Tree (1 of my favorite stores..can't ya tell!) and I ran across this Elf eyebrow kit. I've always had rather thin eyebrows and lately I've been wanting to learn how to fill them in and make them appear thicker. At $1 I figured it wouldn't hurt to give this kit a try. Apparently this same eyebrow kit is normally sold for $3 at Target. A $2 savings? I'll take it!

Weekly Find!!!

Hey guys! So this week's Weekly find are the cute little 'Clean Jars' from Sally's Beauty Supply! I paid $3.19 with my Sally's card. I love these jars because it makes it easier to store smaller quantities of hair and skin care products. I chose to store my Trader Joe's Coconut oil in the bigger jar and my cocoa butter in the smaller jar. It's easier for travel and takes up less counter top space in my bathroom! I absolutely love reaching for my mini jar of coconut oil as opposed to that heavy glass jar. Until next time :)

Weekly Find

So I've decided to do a series of post on weekly finds. These weekly finds will just be random deals that I run across and won't always be hair related or posted every week, but I thought it would be fun!

So this week while cooking I noticed a few utensils missing from my cooking arsenal and decided to hit up Dollar Tree to grab what I needed. Often times people thing of Walmart automatically for anything that they need, but sometimes Walmart is not always the cheapest.

I got my rubber spatula and potato masher all for a whopping 2 bucks! Now that's a find! Until next time...
