Product Review: Roots Only Applicator Bottle

Ever since Jeni of Just Grow Already reviewed this product I've been itching to get my hands on it. Fast forward months later and I finally got around to getting myself 1! I'm sure most of you have heard about this product on either YouTube or on some of the hair boards. The reason it took me so long to get this product is because I didn't see it as an immediate need seeing as though I own several applicator bottles, BUT what I didn't know was how much this product would change the oil application game for me!

My Thoughts: I seriously love this little gem. It makes applying my JBCO to my scalp 1000 times easier. Recently I'd been slacking on my JBCO applications because I just didn't feel like being bothered with the process (not that it was really hard). This roots only applicator bottle turned a 5 minute process into about a 1 minute process. Because of the comb like applicator tips it applies oil to the scalp easily and quickly. Now that this process only takes about 1 minute I've started incorporating scalp massages into my regimen again. In case you couldn't tell I'm totally smitten with this product and am well on my way to falling head over heels in love with it. I'm so thankful to the healthy hair obsessed person who saw this applicator bottle and realized it's potental beyond just touching up your roots!

My Thoughts: I've had this product for quite a while and randomly rediscovered it one day while rummaging through my product stash. I've officially been using this hair reconstructor as my bi-monthly protein treatment for at least 6 months. What I like about this product is that it does not leave my hair feeling hard or like hay as many protein based conditioners can. However, my hair was never left feeling moisturized either (perhaps I'm expecting too much from my protein treatment!). Overall I enjoyed the product well enough until one day I read the ingredients and almost died when I saw that mineral oil was one of the top ingredients. I'm always disappointed when hair companies especially companies that make higher end products decide to use mineral oil as a key ingredient. I feel that if I'm going to pay a top dollar price ($20-$30) for a product then I expect the best ingredients. For me personally I know that my hair does not react well to mineral oil and could kick myself for not noticing this on the ingredient list sooner. On the bright side I've basically used up my bottle and do not plan to repurchase. Why I Love Caruso Steam Rollers!

Caruso steam rollers have to be one of the best inventions for hair to date in my opinion! YES, I love them THAT much. I've had my caruso steam rollerset for probably about 5 years now and have used it heavily off and on since I purchased it. The beauty of this product is that you can achieve heat free curls  through the use of steam and if you suck at pin curls like I do this is a great second option. Caruso steam rollers are always my go to style when attending some special event, date, girls night out etc. It takes a lot less time and manipulation as opposed to a rollerset. You can achieve the same results as a rollerset in about 10-15 minutes! Another thing that I love about caruso steam rollers is the versatility.
