Ok so for all you nail polish junkies like myself! This is something that you really may wanna try! I've tried wet n wild nail polishes before and was not very impressed, but being the youtuber and blogger that I am the new and improved Wet n wild megalast polish kept coming up! Soooo at $1.98 I had to try it. The color that you see below is 'I Red a Book' I LOVE the color. It's so bright a vibrant! Not to mention Wet N Wild has a new and improved manicure brush that just glides onto your nail so beautifully and provides so much coverage with just one stroke! This nail polish claims to last up to 5 days with no chipping. I have no idea if it will live up to its word, but so far I am absolutely smitten with this nail polish!

Ok so as I discussed in my last post I've been dealing with crown breakage....It occurred while I attempted self-relaxing after taking out braids and not detangling properly...YIKES! I know! So Just looking at those scraggly ends and thinned out area of hair was driving me nuts so I decided to take control today by cutting the last of my thinned out jagged ends from the crown of my hair. It's a rather blunt cut, but it allows me to see the health of my hair in that area and how my hair is slowly, but surely making a comeback! It is also allowing me to realy be able to pamper that area because it stands out to me. That area of my head is about 4 inches long. I am not doing an all over cut nor am I going to keep my hair cut one length in order for it to catch up. I am going to do an over all trim of my ends so they will be fresh and then I will not trim again until December. Once I reach full BSL I will keep my hair trimmed at that length until my hair catches up! Cutting those scraggly ends just made me feel so free! It also inspired me to try a braidout..we'll see how that goes!

You know I think the worst thing about having a set back with your hair is waiting for it to grow out! From trying to self relax after braids I've suffered severe breakage in the crown of my head and everytime I look at it I could just scream! I mean don't get me wrong it has gotten better and I am slowly cutting away the damaged thin hair from that area so it can have a fresh start, but when I think about where my hair was it drives me nuts. Truthfully it will probably take my hair another year to recover to the point where it really blends in and has caught up somewhat in length with the rest of my hair. They say every girl has one in their hair journey, but I never thought it would be me! For the first time I've been pretty consistent with my hair regimen. I wash and DC twice a week and I'm adding in light protein at least once a week so I won't suffer from moisture overload. I'm just going to pray for patience and for my hair!
