So sometimes when you're trying to lose weight eating healthy gets boring or just doesn't taste as good as your favorite fatty foods! Well here's a healthy choice that is still yummy and gives you a bit of both worlds! It's easy to make and delicious if I do say so myself! All I did was cut up some skinless boneless chicken breast tenderloins and season with a little bit of Tony's chachere's, powdered hidden valley ranch, and crushed red pepper. I pan grilled it and then drizzled about a table spoon of Texas Pete's buffalo sauce on top! That's all there is to it!

Ok ok so I've been away for a while again. This week I am working nights and it is kicking my butt! Not to mention I worked two 12hr shifts this past weekend. In the midst of that I totally forgot to give a weight loss update! Well I weighed in this past Friday and weighed in at 146.5!!!! That's right I lost 3 lbs this past week! So now I am only 3.5 lbs away from goal! I've pretty much been doing the same thing...eating lots of chicken and fish...very little red meat and plenty of veggies and fruit. I've also cut out many processed snacks and have been sticking to only water. I've had to become extra strict with my food choices lately, simply because it seems like the closer I get to goal the more my body is trying to hold onto to this last little bit of weight and I'm not having that! Stay tuned for the next WI update!
Ok so I've been air drying my hair for a while now...for at least the last year straight. The only time I am under a dryer is when I go to the salon to get a relaxer. After a great deal of trial and error I have finally found what works for me and I love it! The basis for my recipe is Kimmaytube's leave in, but I added a thing or two and switched up a few ingredients. Anything that has a '*' by it is something I altered in some way.
Kimmaytube Leave in Mix
- 1 oz Kinky Curly Knot Today
- **2 tbsp Giovanni Direct Leave In**
- **4 tsp Jojoba Oil**
- 2 tsp aloe vera juice
This creamy leave in mix leaves my hair incredibly soft and moisturized. I LOVE it!

Well today the boo and I ventured out to 1 of the outlet malls nearby. I had a blast shopping for new clothes since just about everything I own is too big...especially bottoms! Not that I'm complaining :-) I got some jeans, shorts, button down shirts, shoes, sneakers, and cute cheapie shirts for work (thankfully I can dress very casual where I work). Anywho...here's the outfit I wore today...

Ok so...I've been MIA for about a week or so...blame it on life...work got busy and day light savings time has kicked my butt! Anywho onto the important things...soooo I've still been loving my precious TRESemme Moisture Rich Vitamin E conditioner...It's great!!! I'm 8 weeks post and normally at this time I'm counting down the days until I can go get a relaxer, but with the help of this condiitoner my hair and new growth are so soft I'm not in so much of a rush. I am going to be stretching to 11 weeks this time because my birthday is April 13th and I want my hair to be fresh for my birthday! Also I've started using Mane N' Tail Deep Moisturizing and Texturizing conditioner as my light protein (Hey it's cheaper than Aphogee 2 min reconstructor and I'm all about saving money). I am mixing my mane N tail with my TRESemme Moisture Rich and will DC with that every 2 weeks.

Ok so I know I know...I'm late with the my review! BUT this conditioner here.....THIS CONDITIONER just may have kicked my beloved Aussie Moist to the curb! It went on my dry hair so well and after sitting under my steamer for 20 minutes my hair felt great. My hair detangled easily, but when I really noticed the difference was when I air dried my hair. My hair has never air dried so soft and supple! After I air dried my hair I moisturized and sealed and my hair felt like butter! In fact my hair felt so soft I almost got a little worried. Talk about moisturized!!! 2 days later I've been moisturized and sealing my hair and it still feels so soft...I'm in love *dreamy sigh*

Ok so after a lot of research on my hair blogs I finally picked 2 new cheapie conditioners to try out...I still love my Aussie Moist, but I just wanted to try something new that wouldn't break my pocket book! I got the regular size of both of these conditioners just in case I didn't like them so the price totaled to about $4.00 and some change...not bad! I am currently sitting under my hair steamer with the TRESemme moisture rich conditioner. I'll do a review of the conditioner in another blog. If you look closely at the picture you can see how much of the conditioner I used today...stay tuned...

Well since often times my protective style of choice is a bun I bought a couple of accessories to spice them up! I searched at walmart, walgreens, and even online and found that most places wanted $5-$7 just for 1 hair accessory...uh uh...not gonna happen! So I went to forever21.com and found some lovely flower pin hair accessories 2 for $1.50! Now that's a price I can deal with! Check out the pics below....
